Marta F. Gimeno (Betxí, Castellón. 1993)
She studied Fine Arts at the Universitat Politècnica de València. In 2013 she moved temporarily to England where she began training in Photography at Southampton Solent University.
She develops her artistic projects around the concepts of postmemory, virtual platforms and territory, through photography and archival images.
She has participated in various exhibitions such as Booki, Galeria Skala (Poznan, Poland, 2019); Visibilización (Octubre Centre de Cultura Contemporània, Valencia 2019); Kapital. Biotopo(s) e Identidades (Las Naves, Valencia, 2017); La línea que atraviesa (LABI. Fundació La Posta, Valencia, 2018); SCAN PhotoBooks, (Scan Tarragona, International Festival of Photography and The Folio Club, Barcelona, 2014).
She also completed the Master of Photography, Art and Technique at the Universitat Politècnica de València in 2018 and she is currently studying for a Master of Human Studies: Art, Literature and Contemporary Culture, at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
Since 2017, she has been working as Project Coordinator and Head of Production at the Festival 10 Sentidos and Taiat Dansa.
